Characteristics

PT5656 is a packing made of pure PTFE yarn and continuous aramid yarn to achieve greater resistance to extrusion and high pressures. This packing does not stain and is suitable for chemical industries. PT5656 is a strong and safe packing suitable for many applications in the chemical and paper industries in all dynamic applications, on pumps and mixers.

Applications

The PTFE and aramid fiber braid PT5656 can be used with all compatible acidic and basic fluids, both for sealing valve stems or static seals in general, and for seals on reciprocating pumps and low-speed agitators. Available in the PT5600K version, the PT5656 packing ensures high performance and is suitable for a wide range of static applications where fluid sealing is required in the presence of high pressures.
