Carbograph Packing C8104L

Composition

Carbon yarns impregnated with PTFE and graphite powder.

Characteristics

The compression packing C8104L is braided with a special multifilament PAN yarns which have an high self-lubricating power. The packing is impregnated with a special mixture of PTFE filled with pure micronized graphite. The special production technique used is able to enhance the typical properties of the carbon yarns, giving to the C8104L great flexibility and wear resistance.

Applications

The C8104L braided packing is specific for centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, but It can work too for low pressure valves services. C8104L is suitable with all industrial fluids except the strong oxidizers and those incompatible with the graphite.
