Unsintered extruded PTFE filled with graphite and inorganic lubricant.
55G is an unsintered extruded pure PTFE filled with graphite and inorganic lubricant. The 55G packing minimizes the damaging of the pump shaft thanks to its softness. Due to the high PTFE content, 55G resists the the chemical attacks throughout the whole pH array with the exception of fluorinated and alkaline compounds.
The packing 55G is suitable for all fluids able to work with the PTFE as acids and alkalis, oils, gases, solvents and steam with the exception of those oxidizing. 55G can be used on the centrifugal and piston pumps, mixers, agitators and expansion joints.
