Composition

Expanded PTFE yarns filled with graphite powder and lubricated with silicone (egPTFE).

Characteristics

The compression packing for pumps style GB70 has a very low coefficient of friction and it is recommended for dynamic sealing. The style GB70 is able to minimize the wear of the shaft and the bushings guaranteeing a wide range of chemical compatibility. Recommended for general use services.

Applications

The egPTFE packing style GB70 packing is suitable for dynamic sealing services with any fluid except the strong oxidizings and those not compatible with graphite and PTFE.
