Characteristics

KD6104 is an aramid fiber packing made with twisted aramid fiber yarn. The impregnation occurs in 2 stages: one on the yarn, a second during the braiding process. The KD6104 packing is a universal use packing for dynamic applications with an excellent quality/price ratio.

Applications

The KD6104 aramid packing is a high-performing product designed for use in slurry service pumps that require reliable and durable sealing. The KD6104 packing meets these requirements thanks to its properties that ensure effective leak control. Another feature of the KD6104 packing is its low friction, which reduces wear on shafts and sleeves. This is an important advantage for pumps as wear on rotating parts can cause leaks and operational issues. Thanks to this feature, the KD6104 packing reduces the need for maintenance of mechanical parts.
