Discontinuous aramid fiber yarn
Impregnated with graphite-based compound
The KD6607 aramid packing is a high-quality product made from twisted aramid fiber yarn impregnated with a high carbon content graphite solution on a per-yarn basis. Additionally, the graphite solution is additivated with a special high-temperature lubricant. Aramid fiber provides exceptional mechanical strength as well as greater durability and reliability. Thanks to its high tensile strength, the KD6607 packing can be used with highly abrasive fluids at high temperatures and pressures. The presence of a high carbon content graphite solution ensures greater smoothness and reduces friction between the packing and the shaft, thereby improving its efficiency and durability. Moreover, the special high-temperature lubricant ensures greater heat resistance, making this packing particularly suitable for high-temperature applications.
The combination of materials used for the KD6607 packing provides it with high performance and reliability in demanding working environments such as those found in reciprocating and centrifugal pumps and industrial valves. The KD6607 packing is particularly suitable for use with reciprocating and centrifugal pumps and industrial valves operating with fluids compatible with aramid fiber. Thanks to its technical characteristics, it is able to guarantee excellent sealing even under high pressure and high speed conditions, minimizing fluid leakage.
