Characteristics

The V9900 glass Braided Packing is manufactured using different types of yarn and can be supplied in round, square or rectangular sections. The E-Glass Braided Packing is a high-strength product with low compressibility, particularly recommended for heavy duty applications. When the braid is graphite coated, lubrication is increased.

The E-Glass Braided Packing is produced using continuous E-Glass fibre filaments texturized up to a maximum of 9 microns. These fibres cause significantly less skin irritation compared to coarser fibres.

The V9900 E-Glass Braided Packing exhibits excellent chemical stability, resisting attack from most corrosive agents. Exceptions include hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalis. No water of hydration is present. Excellent dielectric strength.
