Characteristics
Expanded Graphite Jointing Sheets for flange SIGRAFLEX® are manufactured from SIGRAFLEX® flexible graphite in various forms, namely non-reinforced, reinforced, and impregnated. They can be reinforced with a variety of different inserts such as flat stainless steel foil, tanged stainless steel sheet, polyester or other materials.
Impregnated sheets exhibit better impermeability, handling properties and scratch resistance.
The Expanded Graphite Jointing Sheets SIGRAFLEX® show a very great residual stress values and conformability to the flange irregularities, besides having an excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
