Composition
The SIGRAFLEX® sealing sheets are manufactured from SIGRAFLEX® flexible graphite in various forms, namely non-reinforced, reinforced, and impregnated. They can be reinforced with a variety of different inserts such as flat stainless steel foil, tanged stainless steel sheet, polyester or other materials.
Impregnated sheets exhibit better impermeability, handling properties and scratch resistance.
The SIGRAFLEX® sheets show a very good residual stress values and conformability to the flange irregularities,
