The production of graphite gaskets and PLANIGRAPH expanded mineral graphite sealing ring sets for industrial valves originates from continuous collaboration with the technical and engineering departments of leading valve manufacturers.

Thanks to well-established know-how, Carrara S.p.A. manufactures stem gaskets using high-performance materials, designed to provide stable and long-lasting performance over time and suitable for critical services in the chemical, energy, and process industries, even under high pressures and extreme temperatures.

 

PREMIUM multi-ring stem packings for industrial valves are advanced sealing systems designed to ensure reliability, safety, and long service life under severe operating conditions.

 

The use of top and bottom rings manufactured with reinforced Ni-Cr carbon yarn braid such as Incobraid® GR8807, or PAN carbon yarn GR8800, or pre-oxidized PAN carbon yarn C8200, combined with intermediate rings in high-carbon-content expanded mineral graphite, allows the production of multi-ring stem packings capable of delivering optimal performance across a wide range of industrial applications.

 

 Multi-ring stem packings Premium are available in different configurations:

  • with rectangular-section rings
  • with Cup & Cone rings

 

Thanks to advanced configurations such as Cup & Cone (in Controller ONE models), these stem packings enable optimal distribution of tightening forces, reducing fugitive emissions and operating torque on the stem.
