Valve Packing GR8807 INCOBRAID®

Composition

The valve packing INCOBRAID® GR8807 is braided with pure PAN carbon yarns reinforced with discontinuous Inconel® wire which increase the mechanical yarns resistance. The impregnation, which occurs in three step, at first on the single yarn, during the braiding and at end on the body, is made with a compound rich of inhibitor of corrosion and colloidal graphite. The Gland Packing GR8807 Incobraid® is particularly suitable for H.P. / H.T. valves operating in power plants, refineries and petrochemical plants, where it needs great resistance and great pressure and temperature resistance. Easy to cut and to install, GR8807 Incobraid® is the carbon yarns packing with high performances.

  • Never use the product to the maximum temperature and pressure associated. Consult the manufacturer for further information

  • The peak temperature can be sustained for short exposures

  • With weakly oxidizing agents and hot air the temperature must be limited to 450 ° C

  • With steam and non-oxidizing fluids the temperature must be limited to 650 ° C

  • Graphite and carbon cannot be used with oxidizing fluids
