GR8888 is a special graphite packing with high carbon content. its yarns are very flexible and elastic, completely insensitive to the thermal cycles. All the threads are impregnated with a special graphite mixture enriched with a corrosion inhibitor. The GR8888 graphite packing resists very well to the high temperatures, without losing weight and volume, while maintaining high mechanical properties.

The peak temperature can be sustained for short exposures
With weakly oxidizing agents and hot air the temperature must be limited to 450 ° C
With steam and non-oxidizing fluids the temperature must be limited to 650 ° C
Graphite and carbon cannot be used with oxidizing fluids
